Information you give us
- Join and contact forms: your first and last name, email address, phone number, and any message you choose to send.
- Monday Men’s Meeting sign-up: your name, email address and, if you choose, your phone number, so we can send you the Zoom link.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
- Event tickets: your name, email address, phone number and billing details needed to complete your order.
- Donations: your name, email address, donation amount and any billing details needed to process your gift.
Payments
Ticket purchases and donations are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our website. Stripe’s use of your information is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Information collected automatically
- Cookies: our site uses cookies that it needs to work, such as keeping items in your cart during checkout and remembering that you are logged in.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. This information is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
- Spam protection: our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects information about your device and browsing to tell real visitors from automated spam. Its use is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Embedded content: some pages include content from other sites, such as Google Maps. Those sites may collect data about you as if you had visited them directly.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and follow up when you ask about joining The Adam Project
- To send you meeting links, event details, order confirmations and donation receipts
- To send our newsletter, if you signed up for it
- To check you in at events
- To keep records required for our finances and our nonprofit status
- To keep the website working, secure and free of spam
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the ministry and this website, and only as much as they need to do their job: our website host (Hostinger), our payment processor (Stripe), Google (analytics, reCAPTCHA and email) and Zoom (online meetings). We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages and sign-ups for as long as they are useful for staying in touch with you. We keep ticket and donation records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by replying to any email from us or contacting us.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing theadamprojectreformation@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site, such as checkout, may not work without them.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
